Senior Shirt

Class officers will design the traditional signature Senior Shirt. 

Be sure to sign the shirt! It needs to be signed by Tuesday, November 12th.  See Mrs. Neal.

Make sure you order one as well...we will NOT be ordering extras. 

Order forms will be available soon.  See Mrs. Neal for one.  Orders and money (checks payable to Buchanan Community Schools) are due no later than...to ensure that we receive the orders before Christmas break.

Caps & Gowns & Tassels

We will be working with Mark Flueckiger.  He is our representative for Jostens.  Checks should be made to the company.  All graduates MUST wear a cap and gown from Jostens in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.   The cost of the cap, gown, and tassel is $50 + tax.  Packets will be available on September 23rd. Be sure to show your parents the packet!  Please order online by Monday, September 30th.

Late orders and money are due by October 14th.  They prefer an electronic payment or your may order and pay in person on October 14th - the representatives will be outside the cafe during lunches!

Attention Seniors!  You will receive your packet from Jostens on September 23rd.  You will have a week or so to order online or via phone (deadline October 14th).  Jostens will be here on October 14th during lunches to deliver any early items, to celebrate, and to take grad products and cap, gown, & tassel orders...if you couldn't order online.  Please bring your completed form and deposit to the order table on order day.  If you have any questions regarding your order, please call 1-800-JOSTENS or see the representative on order day. 

Graduation Announcements

Attention Buchanan High School Senior Class-


Graduation announcements and supplies will be delivered in the spring. Those with balances will be notified via Jostens.

Cap and gown will need to be paid for at this time -- $50 + tax. You may purchase or order the  Senior announcements and other senior goodies at this time as well but will only need to place a deposit. Click here to see our gown.


The cost for caps and gowns is $50 + tax. They prefer an online payment by October 14th.  They will be here in person on October 14th; you may pay in person then, if you couldn't do it online.

If you forgot your money to pay for your cap and gown on Octoeber 14th, you may pay by credit card.  Email the representative of Jostens.  They prefer an online payment.


If you would like to pay by credit card, you need to email Mark Flueckiger at flueckigeroffice@jostens.com. You should include the credit card number, expiration date, security code on the back of the card, and your zip code.

Senior Trip

Thursday, April 24th!  Your Senior Officers planned a fun-filled DayTrip for your class.  

The cost will be $125.  Bring extra money for snacks & souvenirs.  To reserve your spot a $25 deposit is due by November 25th.  The entire trip needs to be paid for by the end of January.

The cost of the trip includes....Charter bus transportation, Lincoln Park Zoo, Urban Air (includes pizza and water), stops at Millennium Park and Planetarium for photo opps, and Top Golf (includes sandwich, chips, cookie, and a drink).
